The prices below are for one subject with a simple background, both people and pets. If you have more than one person or pet that you would like portrayed in the same portrait, see additional pricing below. All portraits are unframed. All sizes are in inches.

When your portrait is finished, I will email you a digital image for your approval. Upon receipt of the balance due, I'll send your portrait along with all photos sent.
Shipping:
I ship UPS Ground to provide you with tracking and insurance. Please allow 4 - 6 weeks from time of commission to reception of your finished portrait. Larger portraits with more than one person or pet may take longer.
Care:
Your portrait has an acid free fixative sealant to protect it from smudging. However, like most fine artwork, it is still somewhat delicate and needs the protection of a frame.
Colored pencil drawings should be framed with an acid free mat to keep the glass from resting right on the paper. They need to be kept out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
To Send Your Photos:
- E-mail in full resolution to kareen45@gmail.com
- Photos that are scanned should be scanned at 300dpi(dots per inch) resolution or above for clarity.
- Mail by USPS to:
- Please send photos with a stiff cardboard reinforcement or a rigid cardboard mailer to avoid bending or cracking during shipping. All photos will be returned with your finished portrait.
- Please send more than one photo if you can so that I have a better reference of colors and expressions. Close ups are best.
- If you are concerned about loss in the mail, you may send by registered mail with a return receipt requested. Otherwise, please send name, address, phone #, email so that I can let you know I received your photos.
Photos Should Have:
- Good contrast and detail
- No red or white eye - clear visible eyes
- Natural light (not too strong a light) without a flash is best. But, if all you have is from a flash, it's OK.
- Figures not in shadows.
- Include a note with eye color, hair or fur/feathers color, and clothing colors. Photos don't always give accurate coloring - especially if there is some fading.
- Please let me know if you want the background included, or a simple background of 1 or 2 colors, or no background at all. No extra charge for background.
